I guess I am going through a post divorce mid life crisis.
Pls educate moi on M1A1s, a good friend has a 111xxx serial registered upper with little weld on the shroud right behind the barrel.
Does the weld devalue it a bunch?
What would be reasonable?
I am going to crack open my bluebook in the morning, not sure if it has class III.

Stock. Guess not many M1A1 shooters here. I did have one, nice gun. Went to a M1 Garand but love em both. There's a specific M1 forum you can probably get the info you need though.

Nah, the certainly aren't. I can't remember the model I had, wasn't Soringfield. It was that poly thing, shot well though. My M1 Garand is an H&R Get a chance, watch "Jack Sketcher" or some such spelling. Good movie.
