Got about 8-10 inches of snow total in our area but you can't really tell due to the wind and drifting.

Finally went in search of the windshield on my truck this morning - it had looked like this for the past two days.

It was -3F, I was outside shoveling the stairs and then part of the drive way for the plow guy, took my hood off as it was fogging my glasses, wind was howling and wind chill was about -30F,
after 20 mins put my hood back on as my ears felt little crunchy!

East coast central Florida reporting 49* and windy. A bit of light overcast.

For us guys that have lived here for 35+ years, we call this "colder than a mother in laws kiss"...

Kinda reminds me of a nice spring day back on Long Island.

now thats being more honest frank. the weather part i mean.
the only problem i have with winters up north is that they last too long.
and for that matter so do summers in florida.

You know it's cold every where when I saw 2 degrees yesterday & 8 degrees today here in SW Arkansas and it just barely rates a comment.

And the folks in the L.A. area are loosing their minds over the temperature dropping into the 40's and 50's.

Well I can't say I would expect much more out of L.A.

Surprised we didn't see clips of people running around in puffy ski/snow suits.

My favorite was the local weather guy who in the middle of the gloom and doom weather pauses and says "If it warms up 56 degrees today it will be warm enough to melt some of our snow" (we were at -24 at that time). Just think about that for a minute.

Algore? He is probably busy finding a climatologists...not hard to do....who will agree that the recent all time record breaking lows in the southeast are related to global warming. Some of the records broken date back to 1879! I am currently near Parris Island South Carolina in a house with water pipes frozen solid. Was 18 night before last and has not gone above freezing for the past 36 hours.
