Coyotes and deer

The other morning I was in the deer stand, heard a deer running behind me. I figured I got busted, turned around and a coyote was right on the thing!!! It ran the deer down and caught her....... By himself!!! It was way to thick to get a shot. Makes me wonder how many deer we loose to coyotes every year. I'm gonna get after em this year and see just how many I can get rid of.

Not something you get to see every day. Thats cool. I had a dog take a turkey I was calling to once. It all happened so fast that I didnt even get a shot off.....

Man, I didn't know a coyote could catch a deer by itself. I figured it would take 2 or 3 if the deer was hurt.

Awesome stuff, Coyotes are no joke, especially in the northeast where they regularly get to 50+lbs thanks to the breeding with wolves.
