What is the best way to order from them? I would like to order a bolt handle. I have called but no one was there, but I am guessing it has to do with the holidays.

Email. Lisa was fast to respond and sent my fluted bolt body the day after Christmas. I was very impressed with the speed and quality.

I usually go to their site. Print off the order form. Fill it out and mail it to SSS. Lisa sends me the stuff in stock with a note telling me what is not in stock usually within 1-2 weeks. My last order, there were no SSS matte bolt handles in stock. So it may be several months depending on the reason.

SSS tactical bolt handles have been on back-order forever because they haven't been able to get the casting company to fill an order for them. With all the panic buying this year the casting companies have been swamped with AR receiver and similar orders which are far bigger and more profitable for the casting company so they have essentially back-burnered SSS's bolt handle order.

Trust me, Fred and Lisa are just as annoyed by the situation as their customers.
