hey I have a 110 with accutrigger and long action that has weaver style 2 pc mounts and rings, I need to move the scope back more for proper eye relief. I like the looks of the one pc rails with ring grooves all across it. how do I determine if I need a moa mount (like 20 moa)? and does anybody have the part number for the right base? I don't shoot the gun much just during deer season and occasionally at targets and my longest shot would be about 200 yds but mostly around 100 yds. oh and it is a 270 win. thanks for any replies

If not shooting long range you will want 0 moa

Does your scope have enough internal adjustment to compensate if you choose to shoot 100 yards or under? If so I would recommend using a 20 MOA. It opens up more possibilities.

I have shot 1 deer this year and it was about 20 yds away and I put it right behind the shoulder where I was aiming, does that sound like it has enough? I really know nothing about that stuff. thanks for the replies

For just a normal hunting rifle used at normal hunting ranges (0-300yds) all you need is the regular 0-MOA base. There's no need for a 20-MOA base unless you foresee regular long range (500yd+) shooting in your future.

There are several good brands of one-piece picatinny bases out there, but I recommend EGW as a good option for a reasonable price. Just make sure the base says it fits these criteria...
- It must be for a Savage long action.
- It must be for a "round rear" AccuTrigger receiver.
