does anyone shoot the 270 wsm? what do you load? thinking about making a longer range hunting gun

Grab some 140 gr. Accubonds and MagPro. Work up carefully, I hit max pressure before the book max load. At that, I was still getting 3300 fps with a 26" barrel and that load was extremely accurate.

I have a 26 inch barrel 270 wsm too and I have not found anything that is not very accurate in it.

That load has killed instantly from 75 to 400+ yds. The Accubond is a pretty tough bullet.

i pulled up a few loads on my ballistics calculator last nite and didnt see much performance hunting wise past 500-550yds

i am not saying that i will deffineetly use it at those ranges but it would be nice to know that you could if needed
