I have a savage 110 chambered in 243 that im setting up as a cheap groundhog / coyote hunting gun and I really don't care for the feel of the factory stock. So I began looking around and decided I really liked the boyd prairie hunter stock especially the raised cheek piece and palm swell (I don't care for synthetic or thumbhole stocks) but it said the action screw holes were 5 1/16 inch apart center to center and ive measured mine several times thinking I measured wrong but I keep getting 5" even on my 243. Are me and boyds talking about the same thing or do I have something different? And if mines different where can I find a nice laminate stock that will work? My 243 is a sporter barrel, blind magazine, staggered feed, top bolt release. Thank you!

Ok scratch that I apparently cant measure. I thought I had some kind of oddball but not my 270 stock went right on and I remeasured at the action not the screws and yep 5 1/16. Good thing my gunsmithing doesnt extend past swapping stocks lol
