I've got a 30" 300wsm bull barrel build going on the 16 weather wrrior action. I like the accutrigger on my law enforcement precision carbine. 308 after some spring modifications. Im not going to be able to get the hunting models pull down to a weight I like. Will the le trigger or even the accutriger target ones fit the 16 action or are their physical differences that make that swap impossible?? Another problem Im going to have Is the barrel contour of the accustock that comes with that rifle will not fit a 1" bull. Any ideas to fix these problems? Maybe even a different action all together? Im on a budget. Barrel Is a shiylen savage prefit. Large shank.

You can swap the spring to the le/varmint spring to get the pull down where you want the regular accutrigger and the le are the same with the exception of the spring.

On you stock and barrel, dowel and sand paper to open the barrel channel up.

That 16 weather warrior may be a small shank action.

As far as I know that action would be fine. Did it start life as a magnum caliber?

Havnt got the rifle yet. Called savage and they "said" It was a large shank. Got shilen started on the barrel. I think the rifle comes with a heavy sporter barrel. If I can make the stock work I will.where do you get the springs to change over the trigger. Savage wont sell unless you have a ffl Yes Its a weather warrior 300wsm sku#17782
