You know Friday the 13th got you when you get out to the ranch to shoot and the box that has my bipods is still at the house. I go to shoot off a rolled up jacket and spent cartridges won't eject out of the 308 since the bolt head is backwards and my tools are at home. Well I grab the 22_250, same thing!!

drain plugs are usually only an issue with trailerable boats.
most (honest) guys will admitt to at least one issue involving
a drain plug. it never seems to happen on quiet days when nobodys around.
i remember back in the mid 80s when i was running my boat out of lewis delaware.
a guy with a nice new grady white came whipping up to the launch ramp as if he were an old pro.
the ramp was concrete with a very rough surface for traction. he backed to the top of the ramp
and unhooked everything including the saftey chain. about halfway down the ramp the grady slid
off the roller trailer. i can still hear that hull scraping its way down that ramp. fortunatly the engines
were in the raised position. the guy seemed unaffected by the whole thing. whithin a short time it was
back on the trailer and launched. ill bet even his wife never heard a word about that incident.

Friday the 13th sucked all the way around here.
We got 2 bits of bad news.
My sister emails to tell me a nephew passed away at 43 yrs old from cardiac arrest.

Second is so bad I don't even want to discuss it.
