Axis High Capacity Mags new manufacturer

I emailed a third party manufacturer that already makes extended mags for Howa. They emailed me back to say they had a SA extended mag design in a cad system. Sorry Rat Mag had to stop but heir may be a new supply soon.

I dont necessarily need a higher capacity magazine for my Axis, but I would like one made entirely out of metal instead of partially plastic. Especially the tab that holds the mag in. That should be a metal part IMO. Even a blind magazine would be better than what they come with IMO and make for a stiffer stock.

Any time frame on this third party manufacturer? Do they modify an existing factory mag or start from scratch?

I don't need more than 4-5 rounds in a box magazine in 308 but would LOVE better magazines, all metal ones.
