Does anyone know an easy way to attach a light with out needing to drill or screw anything into my stock. I just got my Mark II G havent even put a round threw it yet.

I plan on going night shooting for pest birds roosting in my barns. Using 22 shot shells. I use a H&R 949 9-shot .22 revolver for the close shots but would like to use my Mark II for the farther shots. and trying to use the gun and hold the light at the same time gets kind of tedious some times.

if there is an acc. rail that uses current mounting hardware that would be awesome.

Thank you for any and all help

You could get a P-clamp at any hardware store the right size to clamp around the barrel and fabricate a bracket to hold the light to it. There are P-clamps with plastic coatings so they wouldn't scratch the barrel.

Would the "tri-rail" from the TRR-SR mount to the same receiver holes on the G? (Can't see why the factory would have different scope mount hole spacing).

It has an upper mount for scope, and two shorter accessory rails on the sides for light, laser, night vision, rocket launcher, trebuchet, etc.

Let me know if you want me to measure/photograph my "tri-rail" for you.

Hanging things on the barrel isn't good for rifle accuracy.

Burris makes a picatiny top for their XTR rings. So do some of the Chinese mfg available on Amazon.

Boondock Outdoors offers a few options for attaching a light above your scope, so does EW Calls.

The bipod comes with a rail...don't put the pod on, put on a weapon flashlight...

Ledlemsor torches come with a figure 8 clamp (dont know what else to call it) but you can get them from ebay they just clamp around your scope http://m.ebay.com/itm/201007014151?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1

Buy one of those "cheaper" knockoff Harris bipods that come with a sling mount adapter...it is a picatinney rail that the bipod clamps to. Clamp a weapon light with a offset railmount for night, bipod for daytime.

You'd be surprised how much you're going to bang around your night rig. I've used the "8" mount but, found it to be kind of a sloppy fit. They're easy to knock loose and can allow your light to dip. You don't want to be fumbling around with a mount when you're ready to shoot.

These are cheap, easy to install and pretty secure. You might need to add a riser depending out your scope/light combo.

These work well on a rimfire budget.

Burris XTR I've found to work best (IMO).

You could also have your minions hold the torches...

Here's my favorite light: http://www.burnhambrothers.com/product.asp?productID=18662
It's pretty cheap and works well at closer ranges.
