Savage model 111 safety not working

Hello,
I have been having issues with my safety backing itself off when I pull the trigger a few times. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem. I bought it used... so I am wondering if someone messed with the screws or something. Thanks for any help you can provide!

First off put it away until fixed, no need for someone to get hurt because of a defect in the safety.
Second either call Savage at 1-800-370-0708 have the serial number ready and ask for advice or try to get in touch with Sharpshooter and ask him.
It could be a minor adjustment, just not something to mess with.

It just needs adjusted,
There are two screws that affect the safety. If you look in the FAQs section you will find some of the information in the trigger adjustment section.

The Safety has an adjustment on its self, there is a screw on the safety, basically you want it snug enough that the safety will still easily move, but tight enough to keep the safety in place.

I will try this out tonight when I have some free time and hopefully I will have it all fixed.
