It,s been done, but ejection is a problem with anything shorter than 223.

I know that. Anyone make a pre-fit or know of a smith with a reamer?

Well, I think (could be wrong on this) but you could buy a blank and then rent a reamer and cut it yourself. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a212/davemuzz/F-Troop-Agarn-Arrow-Through_zps5dcb2027.jpg

Contact " dlocco" member here. If I remember correctly he has done this for one of his Savages.

All sarcasm aside, do you know the best place to rent a reamer? Know of a smith with a reamer that could do it cheaper then me renting one and doing it myself?

Go to your local gunshops and ask if there are any local gunsmith's that do chambering and rebarreling. Unless they do a lot of custom builds most won't have their own reamers and will rent them as needed anyway.
The common pre-fit suppliers have reamer lists on their websites, Pac-Nor and McGowen both list the 45ACP.
