Is the above new rifle a control feed or push feed ?

The rim diameter is the same as the 300 win mag and the 300 WSMs. I don't have first hand knowledge but it stands to reason they would use the same Push Feed Bolt Head. Been looking at big bores lately and am glad you asked the question.

None of the newer center-feed rifles are CRF - CRF died with the staggered feed actions as they're why it was needed to ensure proper feeding.

I have a SS control feed flat back.

I have a 116FCSS in 375 Ruger and it is a push feed. As J. Baker said, all of the centerfeed new models are push feed. As a side note though the 375 Ruger models are large barrel shank actions which was a plus for me and part of the reason why I bought one.

Savage made CRF for the stagger feed WSM and RUM actions. Most were large shank. I've also seen a few 300win that were small shank CRF.

That is what I have...A Stainless long action flat back small shank with CRF.
Its set up as a 7mm mag right now.
