This is my first one. I have modified it slightly since. I still use the neoprene cover, it feels good on the face, but the insides have changed a little. The original is piece of pipe that is split and shaped with a torch to the shape of a U. Inside the U I put high density foam for the lift. I taped the piece down and pulled the neoprene over it. To clean the rifle I just pull the neoprene forward and remove the rest, clean, retape. I use electrical tape and it holds nicely.

New design is a 1" wood dowel cut and shaped, then pinned. The pins go into the top of the stock which has holes drilled. No taping. Neoprene is still used. It is really comfy on the cheek.

Check out "tactical works" I picked up a "blemished" model that looks just fine for $40 rather than paying $60.

Here ya go.
I have 4 of these. Good quality at a lower cost. I even had one of the hardware kits rust a little. I know what you're thinking. How could steel rust on the coast of Florida.
Well, its true & the guy at Southwest sent me a new hardware kit & even paid return postage on the old stuff. The kit even comes with drill bit, allen wrenches & instructions even I could understand.
Why pay more?
