Hey guys, I recently posted about hunting coyotes here in KY with a shotgun. This kind of goes along with that, my question is have any of you ever used a Carlson's Coyote Choke and if so how well did it work (I will be shooting a Benelli Nova 12ga)? Also I am kind of confused on Cabela's website they have one for Berreta/Benelli and one for Benelli Crio+? What is the Crio+ for? Thanks!

I use a DC which is made by Carlson for DC. Pretty happy with it.

I use the same choke out of a SBE 2. Great results with 3 1/2 # 4 buckshot. You need the Regular Benelli tube. The Cryogenic tubes are for the M2 and SBE 2 which take the longer choke tubes

We chase with dogs, with all the farms and houses all we use are shotguns. I am shooting a Benelli Nova 12ga. I am shooting ether #4 or double 00 3-1/2inch. I used the Carlsons Coyote Choke for years. I have found that an Improved Cylinder patterns better with the large shot and long shot stream. I have stopped 1 Coyote out to 70 yards but that was one pellet that hit him in the jugular. One of the guys we hunt with shoots I think its Dead Coyote - t shot threw a mod. choke and it is very effective out to 40 or 50 yards

I have one for a 870, works great. It even works well with turkey loads out to 40 yards, its my backup btw but nice to know I didn't have to buy an extra choke
