I have a savage 12BVSS in .223 that I shoot target with, I need scope suggestions in the power range of 10-50x50MM or even a 10-60x50MM if they make such a thing, I want to be able to see the grains on the paper lol! I use a 10-40x50mm now and want more magnification.
thx scott

What scope are you using now? Barska? It could be that the glass is not up to the "magnification". I apologize if it is something substantial but if it is not, you might find that quality glass can trump power.

I have 2 of these... excellent scopes. Maybe the worst thing is that the side parallax/focus is a bit twitchy on high magnification. Otherwise probably one of the best (if not the best) values in high magnification scopes available today. I'd buy another if/when I need it...

Using a Sightron 10-50X60 on an F12 currently (LRMOA reticle) .... Very nice optic , mounted it using Nightforces 20MOA base and a set of their high (1.250")rings .... May very well have gotten away with a slightly lower ring but I wanted a bit of leeway for the objective in the event I switched to a 40MOA base.. All in all very pleased so far and the price was more than equivalent to the quality.
