110FXP in .270 info

This pistol shooter just bought a 110FXP chambered in .270 win. In looking for info My 2009 Gun Digest shows a 110GXP but not a FXP. I also see that Savage does not list a 110FXP on their web site... Is this particular model not produced any longer? I assume I can get the mfr yr from the serial number?

I believe it is simply the Walmart package model with scope. I got one last week in .243....
