How much do these stocks weigh? Are they suitable for a budget F T/R build?

Anything is suitable for a budget F/TR build. There is no requirement that the stock be a high end tactical stock. The Boyds is stiff enough. If you can get the accuracy you will be as successful as anyone else. Get good ammo, get good at reading the wind and shoot F/TR.

Can't help with F T/R question, but I have two of these stocks, one a blind mag version and the other a box mag version. I bought them because I did not want to spend big money on a couple of bench guns I use for fun shooting.

The Tacticool in the box version as far as I can find does not come in a bull barrel configuration so I had to use a dowel and sandpaper to enlarge the barrel channel. I drilled the back end out on blind mag version and added lead shot for extra weight as that gun will be sporting my new 28 bull barreled 6.5 Grendel and wanted it not to be too top heavy.

I can tell you the stocks are laminate and very tough, for $100.00 bucks you can't go wrong !
