New 12 LRP!

I have a new 12 LRP on order in 6.5 Creedmoor and it should be here early next week. I plan on getting dies as I reload for my 308 already. I have a Savage 135 22 lr and a model 93 22 mag. If the new one works for me as good as the other two I will be in good shape. My 308 is a Marlin and it's ok for the hunting I use it for, but I am a Savage fan for sure. The 135 was given to me by my father in the early 70's and has never had anything done to it. No telling how many buckets of bullets it has shot. It has only been cleaned a couple of times and still shoots dead on.

The model 93 is the most accurate 22 mag I have ever seen. With Hornady 30 grain it will shoot under 3/4" @ 100 yards.

Just got my bullets for my 6.5 creedmoor 12lrp today and it was dark and raining when I got home. I have had the rifle since last Thursday and I was gonna shoot it.
Bore sighted it and shot first one on bottom right and boy did that trigger scare me. It shot before I was ready! The second one is just out to the right of center two inches. I adjusted the scope for two inches high of center and to the left two inches and shot the other two. Four shots and it's ready. The two shots after scope adjust are 3/4" apart in the dark and in the rain. I believe I can improve on that!

I think I am gonna love it! The high cheek stock and the trigger are nice, as well as the low recoil. I will be stretching her out this weekend.
