I just saw a thread on a viewer who made a .45 bolt gun out of his Savage .308. It had a short barrel, iron sights, I thought it was very cool.
Question is can a magazine well be cut out and a pistol mag installed. If not, can a regular .308 magazine be modified to hold .45 acp cartridges.
