The nosler book has the 165g ballistic tip with 65.5 g of powder..... I was just wondering because I have heard sometimes u need magnum primers with ball powder for better ignition that's all thanks for clearing that up

Sorry jumping in a bit late. About the novelty aspect. I have a GAP rifle MK4 scope in 308. I also have a 10FP in 223 with a Bushnell 3200. The GAP shoots as one might think it should. However I jut love shooting the 10 FP.. It shoots as good as the GAP just I can not brag about owning it. The Savage just keeps plunking those little bullets into little goups and it is just as good as the GAP. Ok it shoots as good it has a crappy tupperware stock. I will be fixing that with an HS as soon as Midway gets them in stock. But if a gun shoots is it a good gun regardless of the name or price.

Is this train wreck over yet? Yup!

Bottom line is, the OP has a very good shooting factory rig....period. Only point he was trying to make, just worded it a little wrong... cut him a break already.
