I have been trying to develop an accurate load for my recently purchased Model 11 package series.
So far nothing stellar. Good enough to hunt with, but not the sub 1 moa I'm use to with my other model 11's
Does any here have any experience developing a load for the model 11 in 708?

mag41, hi. You didn't mention what weight bullet you were interested in using.
I have 3 7-08s Ine pistol and 2 rifles. Since this is a Savage forum, here's what worked fer me.
- rifle a new Axis with a tuned trigger. Has the stock stiffened in the wrist, fore-end and had weight added.
One note, like all the calibers I reload, the 7mm bullets were hBN coated, FWIW....

110 gr TNT/ 48.0 gr RL-15/CCI-200

139 gr Hornady spire point/41.0 Varget/BR2

This rifle has a large scope and both loads shot enlarged 1 hole groups at 100 yds. I quit right there and stocked up on those bullets.

good luck!! and have fun

I have several boxes of Sierra 130 gr SSP (obsolete) I'm trying to use. I stumbled on to something today. I loaded up several more of the hunting round I'm using (130 gr SSP, 42gr IMR-4064) but this time I replaced the Fed GM210M primers with the CCI 200 and the group measured .631" c-c, which is much better than the 1.77" I was getting before.
I'm going to try to stick with the IMR 4064, since I have several pounds on hand.
I will keep your load suggestions on file for spring load tests.
Thank you
