Interchanging bolts

Will the bolts interchange between actions? I realize they would not interchange between long and short. Just wondering if fitting is necessary and is there apt to be an accuracy problem. I would imagine the head space would change slightly and it would negate a tuned action.

I have an older 110 in 7mm mag and a new 110 in 300 mag. The bolt from the 300 fits perfectly in the 7mm and the headspace is perfect (which I'm sure is sheer luck).

Yes, it was luck. Always check headspace when changing bolts or even bolt heads.
