Last Wednesday it was 19 degrees at 530 when I crawled into the stand. Around 10 after watching deer all morning I took this guy at 258 yards. It was a good morning intentionally made a lung shot to see how these 130 gr gmx bullets out of the 270 do on thin skin. Just as I suspected deer ran and died about 40 yards out. No blood and couldn't find the entrance or exit until I opened it up. At first I thought I missed because I seen the bullet splash the red dirt behind him, but could see he was in bad shape as he ran out of the sendero.
