Bushnell Elite tactical 5x15x40 turret question

I've just purchased a new Bushnell Elite Tactical 5x15x40. Awesome scope, nice and clear as all my other Elites and and slight edge over the former Elite 4200s. Now the Bushnell website says the turrets are .25 Mil @ 100yrds and in their specs section says .25 MOA @ 100yrds. I have not had the chance to test the scope yet but for those who have this scope, is it MOA or MIL increments??? I have emailed Bushnell and their CS really does suck! No replies...shame on Bushnell. Love their scopes but need to work on their customer relations. *** Note this is not the Elite 3200 5x15x40 and they are not the even the same beast! Many ppl have said they are just relabeled but 3200 glass does not even come close to this one nor does it have the tactical turrets.

The 1/4th mil statement is incorrect. I mill at 100 yards is roughly 3.6 inches. 1/4th of that would be .9 inches. Many mil adjusted scopes go by 1/10th mil. That is roughly .36 inches per click or graduation. There is about .030 of an inch difference between 3/10 of a mil and 1 MOA at 100 yards.
1/10th mil at 1000 yards is 3.6 inches, 1/4 MOA is 2.6 + inches at 1000.

Precision Adjustments

The windage and elevation adjustments affect accuracy. Windage is the horizontal (left-to-right) adjustment, usually the side turret of the scope. Elevation is the vertical (up-and-down) adjustment, usually the top turret of the scope. Bushnell scopes feature 1/4 M.O.A. (1/4" at 1 windage 00 yards) or finerand elevation adjustments with audible clicks for greater precision.


I do believe the err was "(1/4" at 1 windage 00 yards)" and should have stated (1/4" windage at 100 yards)

How many spaces are in between the 1 and the 2? 9 spaces likely 1/10th of a mil each. Three spaces 1/4 moa each. Seven spaces 1/8th moa each. Or box test it at 100 yards and measure the box.

I had an older one that was .25 MOA at 100yds. Unless someone can show I'm wrong (which is always a distinct possibility), I'm betting they're .25 MOA. The scope I had was a good one for the money though.

Sorry for the late replies. The scope is probably 1/4" MOA per click. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Called Bushnell, put me on hold for over 30mins...emailed three times, no reply. I hope I don't ever have to deal with their BS customer service.

thanks, I thought so also. Seems a little weird they would advertise it that way and even the salesman swore it was. Either way I don't mind.
