They can be either.CF 4.40" SF 4.275".

Stevens center feeds are 4.4" center to center. The older stagger feed were 4.275" spacing.

I have a used one on layaway and would like to check out stocks for it. Ser # is G594xxx. Anybody know what spacing it would be?

I am betting it is a stagger feed. I am hoping it is somewhere you can put your hands on it. If so all you need to do is take a scale or open the bolt and look at the magazine.

I thought the mag looked like my SF 110 but don't know what a CF looks like.

I don't think you can see the difference when you just look down through the action. The way they hook to the rifle is different. One hooks to the action the other hooks to the stock. My 200 in 270 Win hooks in the stock.
