Is there any difference between the following rifles in terms of platform design and/ or accuracy. Is the extra inch in length making a significant impact?

Links above did not copy properly. The two rifles in discussion are:
1. Target Rifle Model 12: Bench Rest (6 mm Norma BR 29" barrel)
2. Target Rifle Model 12: F-Class( 6 mm Norma BR 30" barrel)

The difference is the stock and maybe 25fps lost with the inch of barrel and 25 bucks on the MSRP.

Be aware these rifles tend to have very long throats -- even the 12 twist.
Fine if you are running heavy bullets ; not so good for light ones...

2. Target Rifle Model 12: F-Class( 6 mm Norma BR 30" barrel)

The benchrest stock is different with an angle from the toe to pistol grip. The F-Class is straight and level. The forearms are shaped differently. The Benchrest is a Dual Port action, left load, right eject. The Benchrest barrel profile is a tad bigger at the muzzle.
The action screw spacing is different for the dual port (benchrest) making the stocks unique to each and non-interchangeable.

Racerbob, any preference and why? And is the xtra inch adding much to overall performance?

Cat. You have not stated your intended purpose. Do you have any inkling what you want to do with either rifle.

Touché Stangfish. I wrote a very detailed explanation of my intended purpose on sniper's hide forum but I omitted to write anything here. To make a long story short my short term desire is to shoot very accurately to 600 yards ( up to 200 yds from a bench rest) and long term goal to become proficient with shots to up to a 1000yds where I can again use the bench rest. Perhaps participate in some 600yds competitions.thank you for those links. In my research I found them and a few other. I would need some direction as to where to buy the gun at a decent price.

Cat, Go go it and then let us know how it shoots as a stock rifle. Although it seems like a lot of money, if it shoots, it is a bargain.

Boy Cat, Those things are getting Rare. They seem to be a value for those wanting to get into F/class. Boringly accurate at 300. With low wind boring at 600. Definitely a confidence booster.
