You could check with guys with the 10-22 Rugers for their opinions, as they are very popular with them. Also they are the barrels that Knight rifles uses exclusively. I'm not gonna step in how they compare (if ya know what I mean).

I understand .Just didn't want to drop some cash on one and have it turn out to be junk.

There is a GM barrel on my 10/22 and it is very accurate. I don't know how I would compare it to the other main barrel companies, but I know it flat works on my 10/22

I have a 20" 12tw .308 bore .30-30AI chambered GM barrel on a TC Contender. It shoots very well! They are button rifled high production tubes and are basically like all others. You pays your money and take your chances! I don't know how their customer service is but that is were your concern should lie when dealing with barrel manufacturers. JMHO

Do they make Savage "Prefits", or just provide "blanks"? Thanks....Jim

I have one that I bought from midway and had it chambered in 6.5-06AI and screwed onto a winchester model 70 that shoots fantastic. Proper break in is required for best results but they do shoot. From my reading online these are the same barrels that were marketed as the Adams and Bennet barrels that midway sold. Great barrels for the money. I have three A&B barrels and two Green Mountain barrels and they all shoot great. Here is a 200 yard three shot group to verify zero and a five shot group on a gong at 800 yards.

I was holding center of the red square which is 4x4. Had a slight wind from the left.

They are comparable to ER Shaw.....sometimes I wonder if they are the same company or something. Maybe back each other up when one or the other is out of something. Same markings on some of the blanks from 2 different companies at times...
