999 Euros would finance a pretty nice build.

Unless I am reading it wrong, the only difference is the calibers. Nothing a quick barrel swap wouldnt fix.

(Google translate is my friend)
It has a 20 inch barrel with a .7" diameter at the muzzle. purchase price includes the rail and 2 boxes (40 rounds)of ammo. A black stock can be had for 50 euros less.

Darn right it would.
Talk about prices a standard Ruger American 30-06 over there costs $1400 euroes = $1868 American...Holy heck, 2 boxes of shells and a sling/case don't make it worth that!!!
He said the dealers over there DO NOT price haggle at all, buy it or leave.

It sure is different, goes to show what you don't see for sale in the US.

ALL firearms over there have to be proofed. If you do a barrel swap you have to take it to a GS and have it proofed/stamped/ approved BEFORE you shoot it from what I am informed.
