How difficult and/or expensive would it be for me to ship powder to someone?

I have powder for sale (cheap) in the classified section, but do not know how involved it is to ship

I think I sent you a PM about the Varget. Check your messages. Anyway, I believe I've done this before….but it's been several years. I think it has to be shipped ground, UPS (United Parcel Service…you know….the Big Brown Truck) a has-mat fee of something like $23.50, if I recall that right, and you have to mark the package with a proper sign on the side so that the shippers recognize it as a hazardous material.

So, in addition to the standard ground shipping cost, the has-mat fee applies. Go to the UPS has-mat site and you can't really find out anything specific….but they give you a phone number to call. BTW, you can't ship it from a "UPS Store", but you have to go to a UPS Hub. For me that's easy as I live only 20 minutes from a hub.

For you….I dunno how far you live from a hub. Also, I don't know if Fed-Ex ships this…..but I would think yes???

I'm pretty sure that you need hazmat certification to ship powder and primer. It's not something that the average citizen is allowed to ship.

I think you're right, Bharada. I gave up on the whole idea.
