I got a chance to take out my new Striker today. I think that this gun is going to be a lot of fun. My only complaint is with the muzzle brake. HOLY CRAP that thing is loud! It does a good job of keeping the muzzle down, but I don't think that it's worth it. I was shooting with plugs and muffs on and it was still brutal. Add to that the concussion from the brake and I'm pretty sure that this gun would get me thrown off of a public range after a few shots.
I was just shooting some factory 180gr Federal Power Shock ammo that I got with the gun. 100 yard groups were around 2", which I don't think is terrible for my first trip out with factory ammo. I imagine that I can do better with a little practice and maybe with a little more weight in the stock. It would be nice to shoot it with the muzzle brake, but the noise is just horrific! I'll deal with the muzzle flip before I'll take the abuse from the brake.
