I got the DSG 11VT in .308 a few weeks ago. I finally got to testing some loads today. I've only tried the one bullet I have at this point, but it seems to be a keeper. It shot bad at the lower end of the charges, but as I went up I could see it getting better. Past a certian point, the groups began to open again, so I know where to continue with fine tuning.
At 44.0gr Varget, I got a 5 shot group of .473". At 43.5 I got .574" At 44.5 it opened up to 1.192".
I'm going to try 43.7 and 44.2, but I know I'm real close. Berger's or Sierra's might shoot tighter, but the Noslers are much cheaper. If they hold sub 1/2" MOA, I'm calling it a done deal and moving to the 500yd line. Happy happy happy :)

Mine has shot great as well with very little work, shooting 150 nosler bts with 46 gr varget, powder charge didnt really seem to matter, everything shot tighter than I can hold
Mine has actually been scary good, this group has to be an anomally good. is there something special about these guns? an overrun of match barrels? majic dust?
another thing I noticed about mine was that there was very little copper fouling, way way less than anytng else I have owned

They are definitely good shooters.

I just got a new 11vt today from Dick's. I like what I am reading. As soon as I can round up some ammo I will post some targets or results. I have had several Savages in the past and am really impressed with them. I am glad you are here. I know I will learn a lot.
