Can the stock on a newer long action rifle with a blind magazine CF setup be replaced with an old-style DBM stock with the side-button mag release? The hole-spacing is ok, and the grooves machined into the receiver to accept the existing blind magazine box appear to be the same grooves as hold the DBM receptacle box. Anybody know? Another forum member and I are trying to engineer a swap to get him a DBM capability. Thanks much.
