I live just south of some public land, where we do most of our deer huntin. I was up a tree right off a small creek and this big sucker came through. Don't know what he weighed, my scales are broke, but he's my biggest with a bow by far.

Got a Mathews chill. It's shooting right around 300 fps. Shot em with a grim reaper about 15 yards. He ran about 30 yds to the creek, tried to cross it and never made it to the other side.

I got an el cheapo Inferno blitz 2 (crossbow) but with carbon bolts I figure I'm getting about the same. I was experimenting with mechanical spitfires--but the first time I missed the target and it went into the dirt a couple of the blades shattered--I was not impressed though I suppose that's to be expected. I've since switched to Montec stainless steel fixed blades.

I like g5 t3. A friend talked me into trying the grim reapers. They're ok, but I think the t3's are better. Shot a doe Friday, she went 15 yards. Lol. The mx3 muzzy's are pretty bad too. They just don't put as big of holes in em as some of the others.

Dang son! Now that's a hog! Since we are on the topic of broadheads, I am using Slick Trick's, absolutely devastating.

Thanks! I hear the slick tricks are really good, I've never used them.

Believe it or not, I have been using Bear 2 blades for most of my hunting life, I bought a bunch of em up years ago and just stuck with them. Well I finally exhausted my stash and had to try something different this year and I couldn't believe the size of the wound channel. I am using the Magnums and when I heard about the "slug holes" I thought, sure.. well, I'm telling you man, you can believe it!
