my model 16's facelift

got my boyd stock last week.
the hinged floor plate fit the dbm inlet perfectly. i had to bed the action because the tang was touching the stock. but aside from that everything else is perfect. and i was going to bed it anyway.
it's a prairie hunter, nutmeg, with custom options.

I like the prairie hunter stock. I am presently working on an unfinished walnut PH. The one I have isn't shaped like yours is at the forearm/floor plate. Did you specify a different option to get that?

no, i just chose the savage 16 short action, dbm inlet, prairie hunter.

the options are stippling pattern #1 ( probably what you mean by different forearm) and black forehand and pistol grip cap
