OK, I have finished my .260 build on a Stevens 200 short action and it runs great. .4moa at 100yd with the 140gr VLD's. I am happy with it, but am looking toward my next project.
I keep hearing it both ways, yes and no. So here it is. Is it possible to build a .300 Ultra Mag length cartridge on a Savage 110 centerfeed long action and be able to run it as a repeater? I don't care if it requires different bottom metal, as long as it will feed. What I have in mind is a .338 Edge and I much prefer Savage actions over anything else, but I need this to work as a repeater.
Any solid advice would be appreciated.
