LA stagger feed DBM in a SA

As the title says, I am wondering if his can be done? I know the slots in the receiver are probably farter apart on the LA but anything else I need to look into? I am thinking of making a block in the detachable mag to use SA rounds in it.

Or is there a short action DBM for stagger feeds?
