Well I took my Hog Hunter out for a spin. She has a Weaver 1-3 V scope, Leopold quick detach low rings, a large Cooley muzzle break and an Allen butt stock pouch.

First shot was at the mountain, making sure the muzzle break was on OK, it was. The Cooley large muzzle break is amazing, It takes out well over half the recoil from my other 308's that don't use a break.....this is a must have IMHO !

I shot about 8 rounds after bore sighting and got her zeroed in. No real group testing, just have her shooting about .5 high at 50 yds.

I was shooting cheap American Eagle 147gr FMJ's and they chronographed at 2870fps out of the 20 inch tube ...I was impressed !

This gun is a real winner and I see it as being my go to gun for hunting pig or game up to an including elk size game.

All I can say is im very happy with this gun, scope, rings and muzzle break combination ! The bases are just standard Weaver two piece bases, part # 48466
