I was putting together my new rifle yesterday and have run into a small issue. The blind box mag well was too tight for the L bracket to fit into with the box mag. I tried to inlet a little and was able to get it to fit. My next problem was that the thickness of the L bracket will not allow the action to sit flush into the stock. I am very hesitant to inlet any further as I would have to dig into the aluminum block bedding. I spoke with stockade over this issue and they said that they inlet the blind magazine extremely tight on purpose so that the L clip is not needed. I am new to this so maybe that is accurate. Does this sound right to anyone else? Also, at this point becouse of the small amount of inletting I have already done the mag is not as tight as it was. It is still fairly tight, it does not wiggle but, I do not want metal on metal contact. Would putting some epoxy to seat it in r maybe shiming it in with some card stock be a bad idea?Would that effect function or accuracy?
