I am getting ready to turn my 12fv 22/250 into a sporter weight 257 Bob and am looking at using a Prarie Hunter or Classic from Boyds. I think I want to have a grip cap and forend cap installed too but want to make sure the fitis good before I drop the dough. Also wanting to have it checkered as well. Does anyone have good pics of the cap install and checkering done by Boyds? Thanks for any input.
