Ok i see where boyds has th savage 10 dbm with varmint bar contour..i have an 11vt which has the bolt release on the trigger guard. What all do i have to modify to make this stock work and will i need to irder any otger extra parts(longer action screws etc)

That I do not know for sure. But, they are both probably the same stock.

take another look at Boyd's site. They now make Tacticools for bottom or top Bolt release. Also, it says "factory barrel"... Not sure what that means, exactly, but my varmint barrel fits in mine just fine.

Show out of stock for me in the 10 and 11. Still not sure which one i need for tge 11vt

they are out of stock but it also says they will be made within a week or two if you order one. I ordered one about 10 days ago and it shipped yesterday. I do not know what the 11vt is. (or the 10vt, for that matter.) In regards to the Boyd's Tacticool stock, I cannot think of anything that matters other than
1)bottom/top bolt release,
2) sa/la
3) distance between action screws
4) mag type
5) barrel contour

If you know what you have, they should be able to tell you what to order. Regardless, they made mine quickly. I would not wait for them to show "in stock". Might never happen.

They were in stock as of yesterday. I ordered one now am patiently waiting ;- )

New guy here. That answers one of my questions. Plan on getting a McGowen varmint contour but wasn't sure it would fit on this stock. Thanks.

I just got one for my 10FLCP-K, and it needs inletted for the factory heavy barrel. When I ordered it, I only had the option for factory barrel.

I have one on the way for the same gun. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! I got a laminate I figured I would have to bed it and inlet for the barrel too. I am going to move my swivel studs to the side and put a picatinny rail under neath for the swivel bipod and varmint light.
