We had an awesome week at the handicap hunt last week. My wife and I went to an archery tournament in augest and I won a hunt. So, we scheduled it so we could be there to help with the kids. There is no words to describe it. After the handicap hunt they gave my wife a hunt so she could hunt with me. All I can say is it was a awesome week around awesome people!!!!!!!

I have much respect for what you and your wife have done. It is always rewarding to make a positive impact in one's life. The look on the faces, (and the size of those bucks) are awesome!

You sir, are a great model for those within the shooting sports.

Great post!

It make us realize how trivial our problems really are! What a great deal!

Thanks, there's really no words to describe the week we had. We go to several handicap hunts every year but this one has been the best so far. Most was the first time hunting and all was their first buck. I have some video but I can't figure out how to post it.

Congrats to both you and your wife for the amazing things that you provide to those deserving soles, the memories you have made possible for those folks are priceless. I applaude you both for your generous character.

JB, you are the man!!! I can tell you as one who is "from the other side" that these people appreciate it more than most will ever know. I'm fortunate in that my disease (MS) can still "let me" go out and hunt. But not without the aid of my hunting cart. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a212/davemuzz/DSC00633a.jpg (BTW...this was when the cart was brand new.....many, many (as in several) changes have since been made))

When I bot this cart 5 years ago I could still walk about 500 yards or so and still drag a deer (if I had too) maybe 100 yards. Today I can walk out 100 yards, but I have to rest "a time" in order to walk back the 100 yards. The cart has a winch in front (for those times when I mis-judge how deep that mud is) and one in back for deer retrieval. Also, today I have a "real" roll cage.

When your in these folks position (which is far worse than mine) having the day to spend out hunting just takes your mind off of everything that you have to deal with in your day to day life. It's a true God-send for people such as yourself to do such a task.

I swiped this saying from somewhere, but I believe it applies to you and the group that did this: The choices you make reveal the true nature of your character.

You and your group are of the best!!

Dave
