Side mag release help

Once again I have picked up another savage. This will make number 5. It's my first long action in 7mm rem mag. This gun has a side mag release.

What are my option for a stock? Can this model be converted to a blind mag gun? If so how.

I bought this gun to rebarrel to a heavy barrel. I want to shoot the Berger vld bullets out of it.

Any thoughts ideas or help

I converted mine to a blind mag. i upgraded the stock to a b&c medalist. You need to buy the mag housing, spring, and follower. You'll have to look up the part numbers online or maybe someone can chime in. Mine took a little but of Dremel to the feed lips to fit right.
