Fondled a 220F today

Not yet. Have the scope mounted at least. I cut the mount back to the first screw hole to get the scope back a little further. Still not to my taste at higher magnification levels, but it's ok at 2-1/2 to about 5 or so. High mounts would solve the problem but then I'm afraid I would have to take my cheek off the stock and I'm not crazy about that. Typical long action though with scope mount issues. You will probably want a one piece mount if your going with a shorter scope or you will probably have issues.

Tell him you know where you can get one for 459.00 see if he will match the price.

I have a 3-9 prostaff on my MLII. Not bad for the money.

I've got ther 220F in the truck and going to try and get to the range this afternoon. Have some el-cheapo winchester Silver Box rifled slugs to get it on paper and some hornady SST's to try out. Lets see if they will shoot as good for me as the did for Mr. Furious during his testing.
