It is finished and partly broken in (about 60 rounds in to the process). Will be sighting it in this week and stretching it out at longer distances next week.

That is the best looking Savage I've seen on this forum!

I would suggest looking into the Sinclair. Everone that uses one says they are "planted" and "firm"

Nice, I wish my first Savage would have looked like that!

You can't beat Harris for good bipods!

Thanks for the compliment LoneWolf. I really like the ATLAS bipod, does anyone have any experience with them?

I was looking into the Atlas. A guy that shot in the long range comp I did last month was using one and it looked to be a lot easier to work with and adjust from shot to shot then the harris type bipod's. Keep in mind that the average height for prone shooting for most people is 9". so you may want a 9-13in variant if you have any shots going up an incline. That was an issue I ran into in the long range comp with my current Axis set up.

Kind of a crummy cell pic, but you can definitely see what I'm working with. Just a few more details on mine and I'll call it complete.

That is an awesome rifle. Heck, I think it looks better than mine. So your's appears to be a Harris correct?

Honestly it came used with the Axis when I bought it used. I transferred it over with the rebuild, don't know exactly what brand it is. I assume it's a Harris knock off, but not a Harris. It's a 6-9in, but I intend to upgrade it some time down the road though.

Thats Real nice.

Looks kinda like it means business... I'm a sucker for Laminate with a Heavy fluted barrel.... What does it weigh in at?
