Choate cheek piece on 12fv?

Does anyone know if the Choate cheek piece would fit on a Savage synthetic 12fv stock to raise my cheek weld up? If so, anyone have one they aren't using?

Midway has them for just over 10 bucks, dont know how it will fit but have'nt lost alot either way. Bill

Put an add in the Classified's for one, usually the Choate Ultimate Varmint/Sniper stocks come with two and someone usually has an extra laying around they will send you for shipping, Thats were my extra went.

I have one on my 12FV. Put it on there last weekend. I had to sand down the middle channel a little bit to get it low enough to see through the scope. I found mine at the bargain bin at Cabelas. It was a dollar.

A high and a low came with my 12 F/TR. I'm assuming they will fit a veriety of stocks.

On most factory stocks you'll be better off with the low one and probably still have to take some out of the channel for it to sit low enough. Unless you have a setup requiring high or extra high rings.
