Due to a power loss and all the meat in the freezer spoiling, this was a very gratifying harvest.

Nice. I have to admire anyone who hunts with an articulated payloader. I had no idea how stealthy they could be.
Fresh meat is always good. Congratulations.

Awesome, always a good feeling to get the first one under the belt for the year.

WC 860 is pulldown from 50 BMG. Similar to AA8700 /H870. I have some WC 872 also but am saving that for the 50.

Yellow was the only camo they offered. It blends in well when the sage is blooming!!

Congrats. I also lost a freezer full one time. Our archery season opens Saturday, so I will be slinging carbon instead of lead until mid November.

Your right on.
860 is slightly faster than 872, but both were used in the 50 BMG. The 872 was also used in the 20mm Vulcan. In case sizes like H&H, strd belted mag and short mag, the burn rates are very similar and data can "almost" be interchanged. Larger cases will show a little difference.

872 should work in the short mag case with only the heaviest bullets. I think Norma or Swift make a pointy 156gr hunting bullet. If you have a source for 160 or heavier 6.5 VLD bullets - please I'm all ears!!

Sounds like someone needs to invest in a generator.
