Search button not working great. So What are your thoughts regarding the stock on the 12FV. Its has the beaver tail forearm and varmint channel. Looking to find out if the forearm flex with bipod, and just general thoughts.

So you want a lefty. This is a basic stock. It is ok but nothing special. It is not a rock but it is not flemsy either.

I meant to say 12FV. Looking a just the plastic stock. Stangfish, your pretty savage knowledgeable, what would be a good factory stock that would work with a stevens 200 4.40 centerfeed action? Looking a solid, light, factory stock.

Obviously you have an internal but are you interested in a DBM or no? What is your purpose?

No DBM. Looking for a backup stock for my 7 SAUM. I plan to do some long hikes, and just looking to save weight. Just want a good factory varmint contour stock.

In synthetic I cant think of a good lightweight non DBM stock..Excluding hinged floorplates. The only thing newer out there is the one you mentioned and the 10 FP-SR and it has the two sling mounts up front rather than one. I just twisted mine and it is OK. I bipod would not cause any issues with barrel clearance. If you are looking to do long range I would go with something stiffer. Accustock is out because of the different recoil lug. I may let someone else chime in as I use HS stocks, wood or laminates.
