Anyone seen a nice Tactical Style Walnut Stock on a Savage build? I've got a 243AI barrel, a 10 Action and am thinking of making a wood stocked Tactical style build...anyone on here got one? Pics? I'd love to have a well oiled walnut stock with a little figuring...not a plain grain wood stock...and a simple linseed oiling for me, glass bedded of course...

I saw one at a local range one day, but it was a Boyd's laminate blank that he did and it was gorgeous. That is what I want is a nice laminate, but my wood working skills are essentially non existent.

For what it's worth, I just e-mailed Russo stocks and Joel sent me an e-mail back stating that he will not be taking orders for 6 months due to backlog. I really like the looks of his stocks and have him at the top of the list.
